Self-evaluation

I think my presentation was done quite well on Monday even though there were some skills needed to be improved, still. The presentation, as such, would definitely not be presentable without Teresa’s instructive help and suggestion. She has taught me lots of professional conceptions and practical skills. Moreover, I’m really grateful for her limitless patience of having meetings with me again and again.
The article of my presentation was downloaded from ScienceDirect database and was found profoundly fascinating. Also, because of its close relevance to my field of interest, not only have I devoted myself to understanding the article in detail, but I have also built up strong confidence in mastering the main ideas of it after countless reading was made.
However, I am well aware of the necessity of improving my presenting skills-intonation, explicit explanation and timing control-is fairly imperative. And, as a matter of fact, the connections among these three problems were actually caused by one particular reason, that is, overwhelming tension. For example, I always speed up my utterance by nature when every time I get nervous. Therefore, I assume that this was the reason why I couldn’t have had enough time to explain the facts given I was rather too hasty to expound them specifically.
Once again, I would like to address my gratitude to Teresa for her assiduity and to Vivian for her insightful questions. Vivian reminds me the significance of exploring one research from top to toe, which plays a very important role in my own research in the future.

1.There is no author in the article, so we can’t trust the article.
