I do appreciate Dr.翁's detailed comments for our purposal topics. He offered the clear directions for the reseach methods and designs. Moreover, he not only pointed out the problems but also gave the suggestions for us. After that, I do think about more about my research direction and search more for my research method. Thx again!

For me, the most difficult thing is how to set up my topic. It's hard to clarify independent variables and dependent variables, but today Dr. 翁gave us some suggestions that clarify the two variables and also pionted out some problems in classmates' study,I really learned a lot in this one and a half hours meeting. Thanks for Dr.翁 and teacher Teresa, thank you so much.

I am shocked that Dr. 翁 is a young, handsom, shy, and kind perosn. ^^. I really appreciate his reminding of my experiement. I kept the note in my mind. If I have chance, I will go to ask for more details if Dr. 翁 has time avaliable. I am sorry that I do not have enough time. I am sorry to Teresa for the absence because I need to run the experiement at that time. I really like Teresa's design for this course. This speech inspireed me a lot. It makes me know the place where I should notice. I need to re-think for the question again. ^0^ Thank you, Dr. 翁 AND TERESA~~~

Firstly, I would like to show my best appreciation to Dr.翁. He provided a lot of imformation to our research. He also pointed out our problems. It is useful for our research. He is so kind that he told us that if we have any questions, we could ask him.

Dr. 翁 helped me know better about how to set up my thesis topic. I got clearer direction on setting the topic. Thanks Dr. 翁 spent his time for giving this great lesson. The advises are really useful.

Dear all:
Through the detailed explanation in the lecture, it really refleshed my idea on thesis writing, especially on the definition of your thesis topic.
Your specific deficition of your topic might decide the variables, like nominal, ordinal, interval ,and ratio variables, in your study. Further, the resaearch design will as well affect the treatment you want to proceed; includingly, it will determine your analytic instruments, like t-test or ANOVA.
Thus, to make a firm and clear definition on your thessis topic is sure to let you complete your following resaearch.
Go for it.

First of all, I'd like to thank to Teresa to invite Dr. 翁. Although I haven't dicide the topic of my research, I have the direction of my research. Moreover, I learned more about the method of quantitative research. Finally, I do appreciate Teresa and Dr. 翁 again!

I sincerly thank Dr. 翁for giving me advice. He provided me suggestions about my research fram. From his advice, I know that in my research, the methods of playing English cartoons with English or with Chinese subtitle may not proper enough. I will think about it and do some revise with my advisor.

Although I did not have the opportunity to discuss my own research design with Dr. 翁, I have learnt a lot of ideas from the speech.
Dr. 翁 is professional at quantitatitive/qualitative research methods. He pointed out many different point of views that I've never thought about.
I am grateful for his insightful speech.

I really appreciate Teresa and Prof.Wong for sacrificing their lunch time to discuss our researches. I admire Prof.Wong's ability to be able to perceive so many problems or flaws with our researches in such a short time. He gave us a lot of practical advices, which assisted some of us in finding the directions of our study. It was indeed an educational meeting!

From Dr. Wong’s feedback to our researches, he not only catch the main ideas of individual research quickly, but also suggest further improvement on it. His professional expertise in research in foreign language in business/ teaching is appreciable.
